Appreciation
Courses for University/College Professors/Lecturers
The
Bureau organizes every alternate year a week-long Appreciation Course in
Parliamentary Practices and Procedures for Professors, Readers and Lecturers of
Colleges and Universities in India. The basic objective of the Course is to
enable the teaching community to have an insight into the working of Parliament
and to help them provide to their students adequate knowledge about Parliament
and its functioning.
Letters
inviting nominations are sent to the Vice-Chancellors of all Universities well
in advance. Nominations in respect of prospective participants may be made by
the Vice-Chancellors concerned. All expenses of the nominees, including journey
to Delhi, local transport and boarding and lodging have to be borne by the
sponsoring authority. No hostel facility is available at the disposal of the
PRIDE.
