The Speaker's Chair and the Table of the House
Speaker's Room : Just behind the Speaker's Chair there is the Speaker's Room
where he attends to office work and meets Members of Parliament and others.
Members' Lobbies : Just outside the semi-circle of the Chamber from end to
end are two covered corridors called the Inner and Outer Lobbies, They are well
furnished with sofa-sets, providing a comfortable place for members to sit or smoke
or have informal discussions amongst themselves. Four telephones are provided in
four cabins in the Inner Lobby for the exclusive use of the Members. Similarly, in
the Outer Lobby also four telephones are installed for their use.
