                        The Outer Lobby which was originally an open verandah was covered with
                                                 e
                   glazed tali work in 1955. Th  th^d and the biggest lobbv of the House is the Central
                   Hall itself.
                        Along the walls of the Inner Lobby are hung the portraits/photographs of the fol­
                   lowing Presiding Officers of the erstwhile Central Legislative Assembly.
                               (1) Sir Frederic&Whyte, K.C.S.I. (3-2-1921 1024-8-1925).
                               (2) Shri Vithalbhai J. Patel (24-8-1925 to 28-4-1930).
                               (3) Sir Muhammad Yakub (9-7-1930 to 31-7-1930).
                               (4) Sir Ibrahim RahimatooK K.C.S.L, C.I.E. (17-1-1931 to 7-3-1933)-
                                5) Sir Shanmukham Chetty, K.C.I.E. (14-3-1933 to 31-12-1934).
                                6) Sir Abdur Rahim, K.C.S.L (24-1-1935 to 1-10-1945).
                        A portrait of Shri G. V/Mavalankar, Speaker'of First Lok^Sabha, is also hung
                   there.
                        There are also on the walls group photographs of the Members of the Central
                    Legislative Assembly dating as far back as 1927 and also the group photographs of
                    the Members of the First and Second Lok Sabhas.
