                                                     Amenities provided to Members


                          Refreshment Rooms \ Withaviewto providing facilities to MPs forrelaxingand
                   refreshing themselves in the midst of their Parliamentary work, adequate catering
                   arrangements have been made in the Parliament House. There are two main re­
                   freshment rooms—one for the exclusive use of Members, Ministers etc., and the other
                   for Members as well as the Secretariat staff. Both provide tea, coffee, snacks and
                   lunch throughout the year. These are located in spacious rooms Nos. 70-A and
                   73 on the first floor of Parliament House. Besides, a separate lunch room—room
                   No. 70 on the same floor—is placed at the disposal of the Members who like to have
                   their lunches brought from their hostels.
                        All these rooms are well-furnished with carpets, curtains, and elegant furniture
                   Caterers have strict standing instructions to observe all municipal bye-laws and to
                   maintain a high standard of sanitation.
