               World Monetary Conference, Bretton Woods, 1944-
               Constitutional Adviser, Chamber of Princes, 1945.
               President, Tariff Board. Member, Constituent Assem-
               bly, 1947—50. First Finance Minister of Independent
               India, 1947-48. Vice Chancellor, Annamalai Univer-
               sity, Madras, 1951-52. Member, Madras Legislative
               Council, 1952-53,
