trusted to execute it, in case you are unable to accept
the responsibility yourself. If the consideration of
time deters you from, accepting the responsibility, I
might add that if only a hundred pages are completed
before 26th January, I would be satisfied. The rest of
the manuscript could be completed later. I shall be
obliged if you will let me have your opinion imme
diately. On hearing from you I shall send you further
particulars.

LETTER FROM SHRI NANDALAL BOSE TO THE DEPUTY
SECRETARY, CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY SECRETARIAT,
DATED THE 3RD NOVEMBER, 1949.
I hope, by this time, both of my letters have reached
you.
This is regarding the 'Title Page'. I shall be glad if
you will kindly let me know, without delay, the exact
writing for the 'Title Page', and the symbol Srijut
Rajendra Prasad intends to be used on it (whether
there should be only the 'Three Lions' or the 'Asoka
Chakra' or both).
Please note that on receipt of the above information
I shall begin the design of the 'Title Page'.
Please also send other informations as early as
possible.
